At Hong Noodle, we utilize traditional ramen making methods to ensure that our ramen is the best it can be. Vegetables and toppings are sautéed using Chinese woks to develop deep and smoky flavors while our noodles are sourced from an established, reputable factory in San Jose, CA. Unlike many other ramen restaurants, we actively choose to not take shortcuts and add pork fat to our broth to enrich flavors. We care about the health and well-being of our customers. Rich flavors are instead created by carefully preparing our broth with high-quality ingredients and house-made umami oils. To complete the broth, we add our special ramen tare that we import from the Fukuoka prefecture of Japan. This completes the high-quality Kyushu style ramen we serve.
Our tonkatsu, miso, and shoyu broths are made daily using a secret recipe at each Hong Noodle location and are checked every hour using digital salt testers to ensure consistency and quality across all our locations. Low sodium options are also available for each broth. Our chashu (meaning braised) meats are also made daily at each location guarantee freshness and taste. Toppings are cooked and seasoned to enhance the flavors of the fresh ingredients and are unlimited so that customers are able to customize their own perfect bowl of ramen.
