The directory includes businesses' current information on their operations and how to shop or dine with them during COVID-19 like adjusted hours, links to place an order, pickup instructions and the best way to contact them. keepitlocalseattle.org was created by eBay alums Steve Hartman, Carl Fagerlin, and Jed Paulson to help support small, locally owned businesses during the COVID-19 crisis. From bike shops to craft breweries, all three of us have been involved in locally owned businesses and appreciate everything they contribute to a strong and vibrant community. Our hope is that our donation of time and effort can help our neighborhood businesses survive during this challenging period and beyond. Steve Hartman is an executive advisor and investor, and has held numerous leadership roles across ecommerce, technology, retail, and marketing. He lives in Bellevue with his wife and two sons and prior to COVID could usually be found fly fishing, snowboarding, hiking, or mountain biking across our great state of Washington.
Jed Paulson is the Chief Digital Officer of The Riveter, a modern union for working women. Throughout his 21 year career, he has led product, analytics, marketing, and technology teams and spent 10 years running eCommerce businesses for global fashion brands and retailers including Aritzia, Free People, andREI.
Jarvis Bowers is an experienced Marketing and E-commerce executive who thrives on building new things. He and his family have lived in Bellevue, WA for the last 10 years and have settled into the charm and beauty of the Pacific Northwest Lifestyle. Go HAWKS!
Carl Fagerlin leads Laguna Peak, a Digital Marketing & eCommerce consultancy. His family has lived in Seattle for generations and he has many ties to the community.
