With the perfect climate, Haiti produces natural forest shade grown, hand-picked gourmet specialty Arabica coffee that is renowned as an Espresso base, prized in specialty coffee houses.
Haiti Coffee founder Myriam Kaplan-Pasternak was at the epicenter of the 2010 Earthquake with her family, working with Makouti Agro Enterprise and the USAID Farmer-to-Farmer program on income-generating agriculture. Working collaboratively with locals, Haiti Coffee became an opportunity for people like you to help create a sustainable recovery for rural Haitians by revitalizing their coffee industry.
