Established in 1928.
The Rendezvous opened in 1928 and the Jewelbox Theater started in 1932 as the original MGM screening room on historic Film Row and doubled as a speakeasy bar. Years later, during the grunge era, all the up and coming bands played in our Jewelbox Theater and The Rendezvous became a monument in the Seattle performing arts scene. Currently, we hold weekly comedy shows, late night burlesque performances, poetry readings, karaoke - you name it. Stop by for a craft cocktail, dinner and a show, or our late-night snacks menu! We are an integral piece of Seattle's history that can't be missed!
