Owner Dan Crookston loves sandwiches of all makes and models. Mean Sandwich allows he and his younger brothers, Ben and Casey, the opportunity to serve sandwich lovers from all over the globe who venture to their shop in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle Washington.
Before Dan purchased Mean Sandwich from the Pemoulié's he worked with the Hama Hama Oyster company developing relationships with top chefs across the country while also researching and recruiting quick-serve restaurants for third party delivery services. In doing so, Dan has eaten at some of the world's best (and worst) restaurants.
In addition to the original seven sandwiches developed by the Pemoulié's, Dan and the team have added a deliciously simple "Hama Hama Oyster Po'Boy" and a Dry Aged Meat double smashburger to the menu aptly named "The D.A.M.burger" which has garnered acclaim from both EATER and the SeattleMET.
